WHAT ARE  'S A C R E D   E C O N O M I C S'?

What are Sacred Economics? To me, Sacred Economics means to put energy back into the land that has gifted us so much life.  Sacre d Economics is  the principle that we all have unique gifts to offer which are valued beyond materialism.  I continously seek to learn more every day about what this means. We can look more deeply at Indigenous tribes around the World to see how the Art of Sacred Economics creates a beautiful, safe, and thriving environment not only for it's people, but for the Land &  it's creatures.

"Sacred Economics traces the history of money from ancient gift economies to modern capitalism, revealing how the money system has contributed to alienation, competition, and scarcity, destroyed community, and necessitated endless growth. Today, these trends have reached their extreme—but in the wake of their collapse, we may find great opportunity to transition to a more connected, ecological, and sustainable way of being." - CHARLES EISENSTEIN, 'SACRED ECONOMICS'

" I Pledge Allegiance to the Land".

5 % of our profit go to Native Plant Restoration of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. Native plant restoration is the act of facilitating the re-growth of  native, wild, plant species.

Because 'Indigenous Herbalism' is the foundation of Herbalism in the West; It is a part of our mission to help restore the biodiversity of sacred-plant-medicine on this land and support of the Local Indigenous People in their initiatives to restore their Ancestral Homeland and Culture.

Our long term vision is to grow and tend to all of our own herbs. Radical Self-reliance through growing our own plants means eliminating plastic use ,waste and the carbon footprint which is made from shipping herbs from one location to another.

We are conscious of plants which are hard to grow and in danger of becoming extinct.

Plants are only wildcrafted when they are found in abundance of a bio-region.

We source ethical and sustainable companies such as: Local Nevada County Farms, Mountain Rose Herbs, Eden Botanicals, StarWestBotanicals.

NO waste! We are eliminating plastic by turning our plastic-wrapped vaginal suppositories into gelatin ovules that come in an amber glass jar. We are re-branding our packaging for sustainability: meaning recycled paper and bio-degradable inks!

Our Alliances from herbal suppliers, to manufacturers, to packaging companies, to practitioners, farmers, clients   and even the plant allies we work with are strategic. Meaning, we take the time to discern how each connection would impact the greater ecology of not just our remedies but human kind. We ask our selves, is this the kind of connection that would help or hinder the energy of the plant medicines?
